New Community Chat Garden

We are excited to introduce the Community Chat Garden Project, now open from Spring 2025 and is already being used by community events. This new unique outdoor space is designed to support and bring together those in our community who may feel isolated or disconnected. The garden will provide a safe, welcoming environment where individuals can gather, share conversations, and experience the tranquility of nature.

With comfortable seating, accessible paths, and peaceful greenery, the garden aims to foster social interactions and combat loneliness, helping to create stronger community bonds. We are proud to announce that this project has been made possible with the support of KCC and Swale Borough Council grants this is an initiative in Swale to increase facilities of this nature around the Borough. The contributions have been instrumental in turning this vision into reality.

HPC invited residents and walkers to use the space for quiet activities - stop for a while, enjoy the view and have a chat to whoever comes along.
